GSL welcomes Bill Varettoni, Founder and President of Community Ladders and fellow graduate student, to lead a workshop on financial wellness, empowering you to take control of your finances as a graduate student. Join fellow graduate students to learn about how to build credit as a graduate student, how to manage debt and student loans, and how to save money while in school. Participants will also understand the difference between debit and credit, the impact of your student status on your taxes, and the options you have to start saving for the future now.
This event is free and open to all UMD graduate students. Registration is preferred. All participants will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a prize. Healthy refreshments and snacks will be provided.
